Professor William Forman
Born 1959 in New York City, USA
Trumpet studies at Hartt School of Music in Hartford, Connecticut
Member of symphony and opera orchestras in Nuremburg, Kassel, Saarbrucken and Antwerp until 1989, subsequently with Ensemble Modern in Frankfurt until 2001
Performances as soloist with renowned orchestras including Berliner Philharmoniker, Czech Philharmonic and Austrian Rundfunk Orchestra as well as at international festivals and concert series in Berlin, Salzburg and Paris
Collaboration with renowned composers of the 20th century including Karlheinz Stockhausen, Helmut Lachenmann, Luciano Berio, Frank Zappa, Wolfgang Rihm and Olga Neuwirth
