Three Voices (1982) is a work by Morton Feldman, one of the most significant figures of the 20th-century experimental movement. Associated with the New York avant-garde, Feldman collaborated closely with artists such as John Cage, Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko, and Philip Guston.
Dedicated to Joan La Barbara, Three Voices is Feldman’s homage to Philip Guston and Frank O’Hara. The piece, written for one live voice and two pre-recorded voices, incorporates fragments of a poem by Frank O’Hara.
