Based in Berlin, portuguese soprano Camila Mandillo is a scholarship holder of the Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Berlin e.V. and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
From a young age, alongside both singing and classical guitar courses, she integrated dance and theatre into her studies, which led her to develop a special connection between physical and vocal expression.
Camila's extended repertoire list includes chamber music, lied, opera and contemporary music - a field in which she has been attaining particular notability.
She made her debut at Deutsche Oper Berlin, in a leading role in the premiere of “Neuen Szenen IV ”, which was included in the 2018/19 theatre programme.
